“Where land, water, and soul meet.”
Danu as we knew her during the days of the Tuatha dé Danann, is the Goddess of nature. She is Mother Earth, a living entity who breathes and lives with us humans.
During this day retreat we will go out into nature and connect to the magical land of Gougane Barra in West-Cork, that holds deep memories of who we are. Gougane Barra offers one of the most breathtaking landscapes and also memories of the druids.
The day will integrate hiking, seeing beautiful natural places intertwined with energetic healing, consciousness practices.
We will learn techniques to connect to the land, cleanse waters, and energise it, to support mother nature, just like she is supporting us, by transforming our low vibration energies, harmonising us into a peaceful state.
In terms of energy work, our main focus will be motherhood, the divine mother and our capacity of nurturing, mothering.
We will connect with the elements, integrate breathwork, mini meditations, cleansing practices to find peace, balance and reach attunement.
If you feel the need to wind down, this is a perfect place to be.
The event is suitable for both men and women.
PROGRAM
MEETING 10:20-10:30
We gather at the lake, at the entrance to the little island towards St. Finbarr’s Oratory.
ISLAND AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LAKE 10:30
We will look around on the island and also tune in with the spirit of the lake. We will do some sensory practices.
FOREST PARK
We immerse in the natural beauty of the forest park. We will do uplifting energy practices. We will learn to structure water, bless the land. We will also do some inner work with mother wounds, motherhood and mothering energies. Being infinite soul beings, it is absolutely relevant for men, too. We are likely to finish around 3pm, depending on weather conditions.

To keep the gathering intimate, spaces are limited to 10 participants and will be filled in the order applications and payments are received.
GYAKORLATIAS TUDNIVALÓK
For the water cleansing work please bring a small ceramic bowl or a cup and a pointy quartz crystal if you have one.
(If not, I can give you small ones for the practice).
We never know what to expect with Irish weather, so please have waterproof gear with you. Hiking boots are also highly recommended.
Please bring enough food for yourself for the day and a flask of warm drink and water. There is not likely to be any places around to eat (Café at Gougane Barra hotel I believe is not yet open on Saturdays).
Public toilets are available both at the lake and the Forest.
Entrance fee to the Forest Park is not included in the participation fee. It only applies if you want to drive in to the forest car park by car. It is 5EUR/car and you can only pay card. I recommend carpooling.
